Jared Tanner

Biography

Jared Tanner is the Professor of the Mathematics of Information at the University of Oxford and the University Liaison Director at the Alan Turing Institute. His research contributions focus on information inspired mathematical algorithms. In particular, he has contributed to compressed sensing, matrix completion, as well as other signal processing areas. He is founding editor-in-chief of Information and Inference: A Journal of the IMA.
